A Baby's Smile Part1

Updated: Aug 30, 2019

An invisible hand drew back the curtain of clouds to allow the soft, beautiful light of the moon to shine through. That light was the smile of Baby Lora. Her face opened up in the most impressionable way allowing the radiance of her love to shine. It was seen in the curve of her mouth which showed the most endearing, toothless smile as her eyes shone with pure impenetrable delight. That was the picture of true love glowing on the face of a little child. She is the image of joy within the hearts of her loved ones.

Emeralda thought of the way God's creations have inspired awe in her bosom. By looking at the night's sky she felt the enormity of the universe. The stars, the moon, the dark clouds seem so small in the vastness of the night. She always felt humbled in the presence of the awesome emptiness of the night.

Looking at her grandbaby, Emeralda felt this same sense of awe. She grappled with the idea that God has created a tiny baby and put all the potential of human nature in her. Like the universe, the beauty of his handiwork could be seen in Baby Lora.

The great responsibility of caring for this baby was unveiled at this moment. She realized that through their guidance, they will help to unlock her potentials so they can become realities. Emeralda thought of the unchanging ways of the universe and of its constancy to man. It was the opposite of this baby who had every potential to initiate change. She was the dynamism of life and its possibilities. Emeralda realized that her smile was a hint of the fulfillment of a dream and the development of a beautiful life.
