Luna Conversation

This Luna goddess

Cast its beams across the heaven

As Earth its silvery light reflects

That streams through my abode

Flooding the gates of sleep

In its bewitching spell

That lured me to its midnight glory

As she sailed with grace

Through a black, towering cloud

I asked what else can you give

Apart from dazzling splendour

She shook with glee

Showering the clouds with shimmering rays

I cause the Earth not to wobble

As it spins along its way

What use then is gravity

If Earth has to turn to thee

My lunar pull creates balance

That gives the Earth stability

I give to you the Seasons

Which you pollute

And make unbearable

A stable Earth I also offered

Which you wrecked without a care

Quarrying the hills

Hewing the trees

And poisoning the very air

You conspired to destroy Magna Mater

But Nature patiently waits

To reclaim its Great Mother
